Bosnia: Kolasinac positive for COVID

Arsenal and Bosnia defender Sead Kolasinac has tested positive for Covid but this evening’s clash against Italy will go ahead.

The Bosnian football federation has just confirmed Kolasinac’s swab test came back positive and the same is true of Ibrahim Šehic who had tested positive on Tuesday.

The likes of Edin Dzeko, Aldin Turkes, Haris Hajradinovic, Ajdin Hasic, Armin Hodzic and Samir Zeljkovic had already tested positive. All of them will miss this evening’s Nations League clash against Italy.

According to UEFA rules a team must have at least 13 players available to play a game which is why the match against Italy will go ahead.
