“I train well every day and want to play all the time, so am mentally ready for every game,” Borini told Sky Sport Italia after his surprise pick instead of Samu Castillejo.
The former Roma man was asked how Milan are feeling going into what used to be a Scudetto showdown, but now has a 29-point gap in the table.
“We have to approach this the way we do every other match. The fact we can stop them being champions for this weekend is extra motivation, as we want to be in Juve’s position and work hard every day to achieve it.
“We know that we’re in the position we want right now, which is fourth place, and want to hang on to it until the end of the season.”
