Leonardo Bonucci admits Juventus “were fortunate” when Inter hit the woodwork, but overall kept the Nerazzurri under control.
The 1-0 result was ultimately decided by a Mario Mandzukic diving header on Joao Cancelo’s cross, giving the Bianconeri 43 points in the first 15 Serie A rounds.
“There are many games to be played and we must prove every time that we are ready to take the result whoever we are up against,” Bonucci told Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s a long campaign, there are many matches to be played in Europe too, but this victory once again lets us realise we are strong and can beat anyone.”
Last season’s joint Capocannoniere Mauro Icardi didn’t have a single shot on goal this evening.
“Icardi is always dangerous in the box, but we worked on the line to keep them under control. We only let Roberto Gagliardini get away from us once and we were fortunate he hit the upright.
“I thought Juve played much better in the second half and deserved the victory.”
