Milan’s Giacomo Bonaventura says he’s at the Rossoneri to compete in Europe and win trophies, and praises Pippo Inzaghi.
The midfielder joined the San Siro side this summer and has managed three goals and two assists in his 13 Serie A appearances.
The Rossoneri are outside of Europe this season, but the former Atalanta man says the aim is to get back into continental competition.
“From the first moment I came here, I realised this is a great club in every sense,” Bonaventura explained to Sky.

The Rossoneri are outside of Europe this season, but the former Atalanta man says the aim is to get back into continental competition.
“From the first moment I came here, I realised this is a great club in every sense,” Bonaventura explained to Sky.
“I’d love to play here for many years, to get back into Europe and maybe win some silverware.
“Third place? We’ll try. We have a good squad with top players. We have to be ambitious.
“The Roma match will tell us how far we’ve come on our journey.”
The 25-year-old also had words of praise for Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi, who took over the job in the summer.
“Inzaghi gave me great confidence from day one, and this has helped me to be at my best.
“I’m fine physically, and I feel trusted and that comes from the Coach. In the week before the Napoli game he told me I have to score more headers, and thankfully I was able to do that on Sunday.
“I like to go on to the pitch knowing what I have to do. This happens at Milan, because the Coach puts me at ease and tells me how I should play.
“The position isn’t important, it’s how you interpret situations that counts.
“The atmosphere in the dressing room is great, everyone has been very welcoming from the moment I arrived.
“I just want to keep moving forward and try and help the team.”
