The Spaniard has been in advanced negotiations to complete the loan switch for this season and that looks to be completed this evening.
“It’s all official, I am going to Milan,” he told journalists as he was entering Rome’s Fiumicino Airport this afternoon.
Bojan emptied out his locker at the Trigoria training ground today and preferred the San Siro option to a potential loan with Liga side Malaga.
“I am very happy,” he added outside the Milan headquarters this evening. “It is a wonderful birthday present. I am ready and I am not afraid.”
Today is the striker’s 22nd birthday.
He joined Roma in the summer of 2011 from Barcelona on a two-year deal, but one which gave the Nou Camp giants the right to buy him back in 2013.
His arrival is just in time, as Milan are without the injured Alexandre Pato and Robinho.
Today the Rossoneri also officially signed 17-year-old forward M'Baye Niang from Caen.
