Lucas Biglia says his Milan career “starts now” after helping them beat city rivals Inter in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
Biglia’s time at Milan has so far been characterised by injuries and poor form, but he was widely praised for his performance during the Rossoneri’s 1-0 win against Inter after extra-time.
“My Milan career, let’s say, starts now,” the former Lazio midfielder told Milan TV.
“This win puts an end to our ban run of results and and gives our Coach the chance to carry on his work.

“It’s an important win, which can change our season, but it’s just a derby. It’s important for the city, but we haven’t won anything yet and we’ll face a good team [Fiorentina] on Sunday.
“We hope to go far in the Coppa Italia and recover in the League. We need to.”
