Besiktas are reportedly interested in offering new pathways for two Milan players assumed to be out of Stefano Pioli’s plans for the 2023-24 season.
Milan have had a busy few weeks in the summer transfer window, allowing Sandro Tonali to leave for Newcastle in a deal worth up to €80m, before bringing in Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze.
To further offset their summer spending, the Rossoneri also want to offload a few fringe players from their wage bill.
According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Turkish outfit Besiktas are keen on striking deals for both Ante Rebic and Junior Messias in the coming weeks.
Rebic is said to be Besiktas’ priority and are hopeful of bringing the 29-year-old Croatian in on an initial loan deal.
Besiktas are also keen to continue discussions with the Rossoneri for Messias, who, despite a sound working relationship with Stefano Pioli, has fallen further down the pecking order with the team’s new additions.
The first proposal for Messias would be a loan deal, although with his contract expiring next summer, Milan are keen to push for a definitive sale.
Torino are also said to be interested and would reportedly be prepared to offer a fee of around €2m-€3m, but Milan would ideally like almost double that amount.
