Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas have reportedly sent a contract offer to Lazio captain Ciro Immobile, according to reports from Sky Sport Italia on Monday afternoon.

Immobile offered two-year deal by Besiktas

Sky report that Immobile has been offered a two-year deal, although the specific figures relating to salary and bonuses have not yet been disclosed. The Italian outlet suggests that Immobile is excited by the offer and is seriously considering accepting.

The Biancocelesti skipper has two years remaining on his current deal with Lazio, which runs until the summer of 2026.

For that reason, club President Claudio Lotito is not prepared to allow the 34-year-old to leave without receiving a transfer fee. The price that has been quoted stands at €5m.

Though the two clubs have not yet come to any formal agreement, Lotito would reportedly be willing to let the EURO 2020 winner leave for the appropriate price.

Immobile is one of eight players ever to reach the 200-mark for goals in Serie A with a career total of 201 from 353 appearances for an average of a goal every 1.7 matches.

Though his seasonal tallies have reduced over the past two campaigns, he still managed to net a respectable four goals from eight appearances in the Champions League in 2023-24.
