Pescara go into a crucial relegation dogfight with Genoa and Coach Cristiano Bergodi is concerned there might be “too much pressure.”
The Delfini are propping up the table alongside Siena with 11 points, while Genoa are only one above them going into this afternoon’s clash.
“It is a delicate match, but there is a long way to go this season and I don’t think it’s wise to fire up the situation any more than it already is,” said Bergodi, who took over after Giovanni Stroppa resigned last month.
“It is important for the table and in terms of confidence, but there is the risk of creating too much pressure on the players.”
