“Italy is a country that knows football very well,” Benitez told Italian television after tonight’s 2-1 win over Benfica.
“Napoli? They are a strong side, just as many of the teams in Serie A are strong. Right now I cannot think about the future, as I have another Premier League game.
“Having said that, yes, I would like to return to Italy, because I really like the passion you have for football.”
Benitez had a six-month spell at Inter in which he won the Club World Cup, but left by mutual consent in December 2010.
