Osvaldo, an Italian international, is understood to be available for transfer this summer with Inter and Southampton particularly keen.

The Portuguese giants may struggle to strike a deal given that their best wage offer would be €1.8m a season and Osvaldo would allegedly like more seeing as he presently earns €2m per campaign.

It’s also unclear whether the centre-forward would consider the Lisbon club as a suitable destination for his career.
