Benfica back in for Perin?

Benfica will reportedly come back for Mattia Perin in January as the Juventus goalkeeper is close to regaining full fitness.

Perin travelled to Portugal over the summer to complete a move to Benfica from Juve, but he failed a medical because of a shoulder problem.

Nonetheless, A Bola claims a fresh deal worth €15m plus youngster Joao Ferreira could be agreed this winter.

The Italy international recently resumed training with the Bianconeri after several months on the sidelines.

However, he has been relegated to third choice between the sticks following the return of Gianluigi Buffon.

Ferreira, meanwhile, is an 18-year-old defender who has yet to make his debut for the Portuguese champions, although he is a Portugal Under-19 international.
