Benevento: ’Napoli want Ciciretti’

Benevento President Oreste Vigorito reveals Napoli have asked for permission to speak to Amato Ciciretti.

The forward is out of contract at the end of the season, so is free to negotiate with other clubs this month, but there has also been speculation he could move in January.

“Last night I received, as is required by the regulations, a notification and communication from Napoli to request the chance to speak and negotiate with our player Amato Ciciretti,” Vigorito confirmed on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“I still  haven’t had contact with President [Aurelio] De Laurentiis, it’s possible the Partenopei want to register him for free for June, but at the moment I can’t rule out the possibility of being contacted to receive an offer as soon as this window.

“I also want to reiterate that relations between Napoli and Benevento are extensive and calm, also considering what Aurelio said just yesterday.”
