“I had a deal some time ago, but Parma were also involved in the negotiations, so it took a little more time,” explained Belfodil.
“I am very happy to be at a top club and I’m ready to do well. I haven’t spoken to Coach Walter Mazzarri yet because we’ll see each other at the start of training on Monday.”
Inter have also confirmed the arrival of Sampdoria striker Mauro Icardi, Chievo defender Marco Andreolli and out of contract Napoli defender Hugo Campagnaro.
“At the start we were not convinced by the idea of co-ownership between Parma and Inter, but we thought about it and accepted this option,” added agent George Atangana.
“Will Belfodil prove to be the new Benzema? He’ll prove himself to be Belfodil.”
