Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic is still in talks for a return to Bayern Munich, even after they snapped up Philippe Coutinho.
The Bianconeri need to whittle down their squad, and with Paulo Dybala rejecting moves to Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, while Gonzalo Higuain now seems to be off the Roma wish-list, it’s down to Mandzukic.
Das Bild report that Bayern Munich are continuing negotiations for the 33-year-old Croatia international striker, who already played for the club from 2012-14.

He’d be available for €10-15m and Bayern should make room for him even if they have already secured Coutinho from Barcelona, on loan with option to buy.
“I can’t talk about a Juventus player,” Bayern Munich director and former Juve player Hasan Salihamidzic told Bild.
“Mandzukic is certainly my friend, as we played together at Wolfsburg, but I cannot say more than that.”
