Basel man Ndoye undergoing Bologna medical

FC Basel forward Dan Ndoye is currently undergoing his medical with Bologna ahead of a transfer worth €9m plus add-ons.

The wide attacker is already in Italy and having his tests this afternoon before putting pen to paper on the contract.

It is believed to be a deal for €9m with up to a further €2m in performance-related bonuses.

Ndoye can then put pen to paper on a four-year contract with an option to add a fifth.

According to Foot Mercato, Olympique Marseille had also made an offer for Ndoye last month, but their proposal was only set at €5m and rejected by FC Basel.

Everton and Torino were other clubs known to be interested in the man with one senior cap for Switzerland.

Ndoye is 22 years old and plays primarily on the right side of a trident attack, but can also work on the left.

The Swiss season has already begun and he contributed one goal and three assists in four competitive games.
