Torino are on the verge of sending Antonio Barreca to Monaco in exchange for Soualiho Meite and €2m.
According to Sky Sport Italia, negotiations are at an advanced stage for the double deal.
Toro have been in talks to sign 24-year-old midfielder Meite for several days, as the Frenchman was also linked with Genoa and Fiorentina.
He just returned from a loan spell at Girondins de Bordeaux and Monaco bought him from Belgian side Zulte Waregem for €8m last summer.

It seems as if the two clubs were able to reach a mutual agreement to hand over Meite with Barreca going the other way.
Left-back Barreca is 23 years old and considered the future of the Italy squad, having come up through the Toro academy in his hometown.
Monaco would also provide Torino with €2m cash to reflect the difference in value of the two players.
Barreca has the opportunity to reunite with former Torino captain Kamil Glik, while veteran Andrea Raggi and teenage ex-Genoa striker Pietro Pellegri are also at Monaco.
