Milan legend Franco Baresi has been surprised “in a positive way” by the summer transfer campaign and says Leo Bonucci “is not up for discussion”.
The Rossoneri have spent big this summer after the arrival of their new Chinese owners, with the €40m signing of Bonucci from Juventus the biggest surprise of the Serie A summer.
“It’s been a good transfer campaign,” Baresi told Milan TV.
“These owners have surprised everyone in a positive way, both insiders and fans.

“Bonucci? Leonardo is not up for discussion. He has great experience, he played at Juventus for six or seven years as a protagonist.
“He has personality and charisma, and he’ll make a great contribution for all his teammates.
“Then of course everyone has their own way of captaining the team, there are those who stay silent and others who fire people up and want to transmit desire.
“I can see him transmitting positivity to everyone, ready to face any opponent.”
