La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessié is Massimiliano Allegri’s primary target to replace Paul Pogba if the Frenchman moves to Saudi Arabia.
Pogba is still working to get back in shape after struggling with injuries in 2022-23 and the Bianconeri are ready to let him go to Saudi Arabia for just €10m.
According to Thursday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 8), Juventus boss Allegri has identified Barça midfielder Kessié as the ideal replacement for the ex-Manchester United star.
The likes of Habib Diarra (Strasbourg), Teun Koopmeiners (Atalanta) and Rodrigo De Paul (Atletico Madrid) are also on Juventus’ agenda, but the Serie A giants will first try to get Kessié on loan if Pogba leaves, claims Gazzetta.
The Ivory Coast international scored three goals in 43 competitive appearances with Barcelona last season and has already played in Serie A with Atalanta and Milan scoring 41 goals in 204 games in Italy’s top flight.
