The 34-year-old arrived in the Liguria capital last night when he briefly met the Grifone fans outside his hotel.
Balotelli waved at them and was visibly happy to hear his new supporters shout his name.
The Italian striker has been without a club since June 2024, when his contract with Turkish side Adana Demirspor expired.
As club director Marco Ottolini confirmed yesterday, Balotelli will undergo medical tests and sign his contract with Genoa today.
