Balotelli offered to Napoli

Mino Raiola has reportedly offered Mario Balotelli to Napoli, with President Aurelio De Laurentiis considering an approach.

The Italian international looks set to leave Nice this summer, though it’s not actually clear whether or not he’s out of contract.

Raiola, his agent, has stated that Super Mario will be able to move for free, but French media outlets including L’Équipe maintain there’s an extra year on his contract.

Nonetheless, Tuttosport is reporting that Balotelli has been offered to Napoli, with Raiola telling President Aurelio De Laurentiis to “take Balotelli and make [Coach Carlo] Ancelotti happy”.

The Partenopei have also been looking at another of the agent’s clients, Alphonse Areola, but it appears they’ll instead sign both Alex Meret and Orestis Karnezis.
