Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reiterates that negotiations are ongoing and suggests that an agreement between all parties on the transfer could be reached in ‘a very short time, perhaps as early as today’.
Any move would end an 18-month association between Balotelli and Milan, and see the Italy international return to the Premier League for a second run, following a previous spell with Manchester City.
