New Genoa boss Davide Ballardini has revealed that his only task this season is to save the club from relegation.
The 49-year-old has replaced Gigi Del Neri at the Marassi for his second spell in charge of the Grifone.
And the former Palermo man has claimed that he wants to get the club out of the drop zone, where they currently languish three points from safety.
“From now on, under me, Genoa will have all the qualities necessary to play good football,” he told a Press conference.
“We will be a team and will get results. I don't think it is 'mission impossible'.
“At the moment we have 17 points because that's what we deserve – now we have to improve.”
