Tiemoue Bakayoko believes Milan fans have seen nothing yet after giving a long interview to the club’s TV channel.
Bakayoko has started showing form for the Rossoneri after a slow start to his season-long loan from Chelsea, and the former Monaco midfielder discussed a wide range of topics with Milan TV.
“I took my time, taking small steps forward, knowing it wouldn’t be easy,” he began.
“I think that in the last few matches, the people have seen a very good Bakayoko: now I can only improve.

“I took my time, taking small steps forward, knowing it wouldn’t be easy,” he began.
“I think that in the last few matches, the people have seen a very good Bakayoko: now I can only improve.
“Kessie helps me a lot. He’s very kind but all my other teammates are close to me too. In the last month, I’ve been close to everyone, including Leonardo, Maldini and Gattuso.
“Because of this, I’ve been able to show what I can do in training and matches: they expect a lot from me, it’s normal. Now I hope we can all keep growing together.
“I haven’t become stronger in a month. I was the same player when I first arrived. Simply put, I now feel better in the team.
“I’m storing tactical information more easily and I understand my position on the field better. I feel more at ease than a few weeks ago.
“I needed to play and now I'm finally taking off. I can improve even more, I’m only 24 and I have all the time in world to develop further.
“I’m still not at my best, I can grow in terms of ball recovery, tactics and game management. There are also still steps forward to take on a technical level, plus I can also get quicker.
“I can grow in all aspects of my role, and I have time and infrastructure to do it. We were all disappointed after the defeat: even if lots of people think Juventus have no defects.
“We believed and wanted to win, so at the end of the game we were all disappointed. The fans, however, were extraordinary.
“They did everything they possibly could and put on a great display before the game: now we have to look forward, an important match awaits us against Lazio and only that counts.
“Unfortunately we have so many injuries. It happens and it’s not a very lucky period for us. Important players like Biglia and Musacchio are out.
“Still, we’ll try to do without them and still pick up important results to make sure that their recovery goes in the best possible way.
“The game against Lazio will be very important for the Champions League. They’ve just gone in front of us, but we believe in ourselves and we’ll go to the Olimpico to win the game and get a good result. Our objective is to finish in the top four.
“If I could take something from my teammates, I’d take Higuain’s attitude and Calhanoglu’s shooting technique at Calhanoglu. That’s it!
“Gattuso is always very close to us players. We all know his career: he is a man with many values and now he’s transmitting them all to us as a Coach.
“He gives me a lot of confidence and asks me to play as I know, with simplicity, and add my quality to the team every game a little more.
“I’m here to help the team. It’s a shame what happened to Biglia, but we have a lot of quality players to replace him and we all have to give our best to get into the top four.
“I have enormous respect for Maldini. Since I’ve been here he’s always been close and he has been very important right from the first day.
“If I have to be inspired someone, I'd choose a player like him. I normally get up in the morning and go to training, have lunch at home or at Milanello, then rest,
“After that, I like watching my favourite TV series or spending time playing videogames with my friends.
“My first goal? I hope to get it at Lazio!”
