The Chilean midfielder has Premier League experience, having spent a season with Cardiff City, and reportedly impressed the Reds during the Copa America.
However, speaking to a Chilean newspaper, the Nerazzurri’s sporting director has categorically denied Medel could leave.
“Medel is not for sale,” Ausilio told El Mercurio.

“He’s a very important player for Inter. We’re very happy with what he did in the Copa America.
“Medel is not for sale. There have been no negotiations with Liverpool, or any club. He doesn’t have a precise asking price, because he’s not for sale.”
