Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement with Juventus over a loan deal for striker Moise Kean according to reports on Saturday evening.
The 23-year-old is set to move to the Spanish capital on a straight loan deal until the end of the 2023-24 season for a reported fee of €500,000. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, there will not be an option to buy clause included in the deal.
It is expected that Kean will travel to Madrid within the next two days, so a medical could be lined up for the beginning of next week.
Though a regular starter for Juventus under Massimiliano Allegri during the autumn, Kean has been suffering with an injury to his shin in recent months and has not featured for the Bianconeri since the beginning of December.
According to recent reports, part of Juventus’ willingness to allow Kean to leave on loan is the emergence and subsequent performances of 18-year-old talent Kenan Yildiz.
Kean’s is still targeting a place in Luciano Spalletti’s Italy squad for Euro 2024 in Germany this summer, so regular game time with Atletico could benefit his cause.
