Fiorentina defender Davide Astori won’t discuss third-place – “I like to do my talking on the pitch”.
The Viola are five points behind Roma in the race for the final Champions League place, and face Sampdoria at Artemio Franchi on Sunday.
“Third place? It’s easy to say we believe, but I like to do my talking on the pitch,” Astori explained to Mediaset.
“On Sunday we have to make a change and show on the pitch that we’re fighting for third-place again.

“After the defeat against Roma we’ve come through the backlash. There are good and bad moments in every season, but we’ve come through it well.
“Head to heads? We’re talking about great teams, with bigger squads than ours.
“Nonetheless we’ve always played on a par with everyone, and we’ve learned a lot.”
