Jhon Durán insists he is ‘not aware’ of interest from Milan and Chelsea and has his ‘head in Aston Villa‘ but admits ‘as a child, you dream of playing there.’

The Colombia international has been linked with Milan and Chelsea in the January transfer window but is not aware of interest from any of the two clubs.

“I have my head in Aston Villa,” the 20-year-old told Win Sports TV as quoted by Birmingham Live.

“I’m not really interested in those things, I mainly stay away from social media [and noise] and focus on family,” he continued.

“I am not aware of interests in Milan or Chelsea. They are giant clubs, but I have no knowledge of anything. As a child, you dream of playing there.”

Duran was reportedly offered to Milan at the beginning of January, but the Rossoneri are stalling on a move for any centre-forward in the January transfer window following Luka Jovic’s convincing performances at the Stadio Meazza.

The Serbia international scored five goals in his latest seven appearances with the Serie A giants across all competitions, so the Rossoneri are prioritising the signing of a new centre-back this month.

Duran, 20, has scored four goals in 23 appearances across all competitions with Aston Villa this season.

He joined the Premier League side in a €16.64m deal from Chicago Fire FC in the 2023 January transfer window.
