Luca Antonini recalls the last time Milan faced Arsenal in a competitive game – “the Emirates is a difficult stadium”.
The Rossoneri beat the Gunners 4-3 on aggregate when they met in the Champions League in 2012, and they’ve been paired together in the Europa League Last 32.
“I was on the pitch in the first leg at San Siro,” Antonini recalled, speaking to MilanNews about the 4-0 win.
“In the return leg, unfortunately, I was put in the stands [by Coach Max Allegri] at the Emirates with no explanation.
