Fiorentina club manager Giancarlo Antognoni insists two of the three Milan goals were affected by refereeing errors. ‘It was a good performance.’
The Viola had been 2-1 up, but were overturned for a 3-2 home defeat by Brahim Diaz and Hakan Calhanoglu goals.
“We did not pick up any points today, but it was a good performance,” club legend Antognoni told Sky Sport Italia.

“We did not pick up any points today, but it was a good performance,” club legend Antognoni told Sky Sport Italia.
“There is some regret over the result, but also a few inconsistent refereeing decisions. The first Zlatan Ibrahimovic goal, in our view, was affected by a push on German Pezzella.
“As for the second, the throw-in that led to the Rossoneri goal should’ve gone to us.”
Fiorentina changed to a four-man defence for this game, but the offside trap failed repeatedly.
“There was this change, with more quality midfielders instead. We fought on level terms with the team that is second in the Serie A table, which means the tactics used were positive.”
Fiorentina are sliding down the standings, as they are now level on 29 points with Spezia and Benevento, who both won this weekend.
“Regardless of the table, I think the team did well today. If we continue like this, then the points will come.”
