Bernardeschi has impressed this season for Fiorentina, where he can play as a striker, behind the forwards or wide in a 4-4-2 formation.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Ancelotti has asked Bayern Munich to snap up Bernardeschi over the summer.
The 21-year-old has scored three goals in five Europa League games this season, but hasn’t found the net in Serie A.
“Serie A players that I would take to my next club? In Italy definitely Lorenzo Insigne, Bernardeschi, Daniele Baselli and Paulo Dybala. Abroad it’d be Marco Verratti, the best of all,” Ancelotti told Radio Anch’Io lo Sport last month.
