Ancelotti: No more Cavani talk!

Carlo Ancelotti has asked Napoli fans to stop calling for Edinson Cavani’s return as Arkadiusz Milik is ‘finding continuity and scoring goals’.

Milik has put two long-term injuries behind him to score four goals in his last three Serie A games for Napoli, including a last-minute free kick to kill off Cagliari on Sunday, and Ancelotti believes talk of Cavani coming back is counterproductive to the Pole.

“VAR is technology that needs improving, but football needs it,” the Coach told Tiki Taka.

“VAR is technology that needs improving, but football needs it,” the Coach told Tiki Taka.

“Like all innovations there’s some uncertainty at the beginning, but we’re on the right tracks.

“The derby was very tight. Torino played the game they needed to play with great energy, but the penalty incident determined the result.

“Milik’s a very young lad who was out injured for two years, and that shouldn’t be forgotten.

“He was a bit up and down at the start, but now he’s finding continuity and we hope he’ll carry on like this.

“It’s ironic that people are talking about Cavani, who is much loved in Naples, when our strikers have scored a lot of goals.”
