According to a report from Relevo in Spain, Florentino Perez is not considering sacking Carlo Ancelotti, but the Italian tactician is ‘losing support’ at the Bernabeu after a 4-0 loss against Barcelona.

Ancelotti’s Real Madrid suffered a shocking 4-0 home defeat against Barcelona on Saturday, and according to Spanish media Relevo, the loss will have ‘consequences’ at the Bernabeu.

Ancelotti is under contract until June 2026, but according to the report, the Italian tactician is losing support within the club.

President Perez and the most relevant directors still see Ancelotti as a club legend and are not considering replacing him at any point this season.

At the same time, however, something is changing for the ex-Italy international in Madrid.

Part of the club is losing confidence in the former midfielder, and tension is emerging inside the Bernabeu dressing room.

According to the report, some players are also not entirely convinced by Antonio Pintus’ methods.

The Italian fitness coach has been an Ancelotti staff member for several years, but the number of injuries suffered by the Merengues have reportedly caused debates inside the Madrid locker room.
