Carlo Ancelotti believes “Italy can be the surprises of Euro 2012” and gives his views on Sebastian Giovinco at PSG.

The Coach was in Parma today to speak to a university class and was asked about the upcoming European Championships.

“Italy can be the surprises of Euro 2012. Of course Spain are the favourites, then England and France, but Cesare Prandelli’s side can do very well.”

Being in Parma, Ancelotti had to comment on their star player Giovinco, who is still co-owned by the Ducali and Juventus.

“Could we see Giovinco in Paris? Well, it is a city that welcomes millions of visitors and I’m sure we’d find space for him in a 40,000-seater stadium…

“Giovinco is happy at Parma and I hope he stays here. Roberto Donadoni has done exceptional work here and I think the club’s future can be even better.”
