Marco Amelia concedes that it will be tough for his Milan side to get a result at Roma next weekend.
Although the Giallorossi lost at Chievo on Sunday, while the Diavolo collected their fourth straight win, Amelia respects his former club.
“This will be the last week before the Christmas break and we’ll be doing everything we can to get the win at the Stadio Olimpico, but it won’t be easy,” said the goalkeeper.
“We have to prepare well during the week to bring home a good result.”
After wins over Juventus, Catania and Torino, the San Siro giants disposed of Pescara with a 4-1 scoreline.
“We played a good first half and spent a lot of energy,” he continued. “Pescara have been playing well in the last few weeks. We did well to hang on for a while and then win.
“We started the season badly but we did well to react and get points on the table.
“We involved the fans with our enthusiasm and the wind has changed. Shots that hit the post now would have gone in in the past. That’s a sign.”
