Today could finally be the day when Amauri leaves Juventus after a deal with Fiorentina was reportedly agreed.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Brazilian-born Italian international will put pen to paper on a contract with the Viola at some point on Thursday.

Amauri, 31, is looking for a new club given that his contract at Juventus is set to expire in June 2012.

The striker, netted from Palermo in 2008, is expected to sign a contract with the Tuscan outfit until the end of the season. He’ll then be a free agent.

It is being claimed that the Viola will pay Juventus €250,000 for the centre-forward, while handing the player €1m in wages over the next five months.

Amauri hasn’t played a single minute for Juventus this season after he refused to leave the Turin giants over the summer.

The forward, who was on €3.8m a season with the Bianconeri, spent the first six months of 2011 on loan at Parma where he scored seven goals in 11 games.
