The tactician’s future is in doubt as, although he is contracted until June 2014, he’s being heavily linked with a switch to Roma.
“There are no worries about his stay here,” Vice-President Adriano Galliani told Sky Sport Italia on Wednesday. “Allegri is welded to the Milan bench with a blowtorch.”
Allegri, 45, joined Milan in the summer of 2010 and instantly led the Diavolo to the Serie A title. They came second last season and are presently third in the Division.
Galliani was also asked about Stephan El Shaarawy’s recent difficulties in front of goal. Although he has 16 goals in the League this term, he’s only netted two in his last 11 games.
“There is no crisis,” the official insisted. “There are times in a forward’s career when they find themselves in negative spells.
“Just look at Edinson Cavani who is now back to scoring…”
Galliani added that Milan’s objective for this season was to finish second in the League. They are just two points behind Cavani’s Azzurri.
