Despite picking up just seven points in the last eight games, Juventus have not lost faith in much-maligned coach Massimiliano Allegri.
The Bianconeri have been in freefall since their 3-0 win over Lecce on January 21, only winning once since. They’ve only secured seven points in their last eight matches, beating just Frosinone 3-2 with a 95th minute goal, and their confidence has plummeted.
Allegri decided to call Juventus into a training retreat following the 2-2 draw with Atalanta, hoping to try and turn things around, but they again disappointed in their clash with Genoa on Sunday, being held to a goalless draw. Loud boos rung around the Allianz Stadium after the fulltime whistle.
Page three of today’s Tuttosport details how the Juventus management believe in Allegri still and are not considering dismissing him before the end of the season for the time being, despite the fact that his side have picked up just seven points in eight games.
Whilst no final decision has been made yet ahead of next season, the Old Lady are maintaining faith in Allegri as the team fight to guarantee Champions League qualification.
