Adriano Galliani has confirmed on Thursday they’ll “find the best possible solution for Milan” and Max Allegri.
The summit between Vice-President Galliani, Coach Allegri and President Silvio Berlusconi had been scheduled for Monday, then put back to Thursday evening.
“I spoke to the President,” Galliani told Milan Channel tonight.
“He is currently in Sardinia, but he should arrive on Thursday evening and we’ll get together to find the best possible solution for Milan.”
Allegri still has a year left to run on his contract and is favoured by Galliani, but President Berlusconi is determined to fire him and bring in Clarence Seedorf.
There are problems developing with Seedorf, as he is still playing for Botafogo and the Brazilian club does not want to release him from his contract.
The Dutch midfielder is due in Milan this week on a business trip, as he owns two restaurants in Italy.
While Allegri is waiting for the Thursday verdict, Roma are also growing impatient as they await a response to the €3.5m per season contract offer.
