Inter have booked in medicals for Alexis Sanchez after agreeing to sell Joaquin Correa to Olympique Marseille.
The Nerazzurri will send the Argentinian striker to the south of France on a loan deal with a €15m conditional obligation to buy clause attaching, closing out a rather unconvincing two-year spell in the Lombardy capital.
Sanchez is currently a free agent after leaving Marseille on a free transfer last month, leaving the club after just a single season. He impressed with the Ligue 1 side, scoring 18 goals in 44 total appearances.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have booked in Sanchez’s medicals for tomorrow, allowing him to put pen to paper on his new contract. His contract is understood to be a two-year deal worth circa €3m net per season.
The Chilean forward was a useful figure during his first spell with the Nerazzurri, scoring 20 goals and providing 23 assists in 109 games across all competitions.
