Arsenal are interested in Juventus defender Daniele Rugani and his agent confirms “various top European clubs follow him. Some are English.”
The 23-year-old gets very little playing time in Turin, as Medhi Benatia has emerged as the first choice back-up to Andrea Barzagli.
This has fuelled reports of a summer exit, especially if the Bianconeri get Stefan de Vrij as a free agent from Lazio.
There are English reports that Arsene Wenger is a big admirer of the former Empoli centre-back and is preparing a £25m summer swoop.

“Rugani is an international player. He could play in any league, so also in the UK,” agent Davide Torchia told The Sun.
“He’s young. Elegant in the way of playing. I know that various top European clubs follow him. Some are English.
“Arsenal? In the past, some seasons ago, we spoke with them. At the moment there is no official contact with them.
“He is happy at Juventus. He does not want to leave Turin. And he hopes to play continuously. However, if they were to receive a big offer for him, maybe he could be sold.”
Napoli made several massive offers for Rugani over the last couple of years, as he first shot to fame playing in Maurizio Sarri’s Empoli.
The then Under-21 international also set a record by playing every Serie A game in one season without picking up a single yellow card.
