“I don’t know what the future holds for Maggio, but I am sure he won’t stay at home,” Maggio’s representative has told Radio Crc.
“Napoli have an option [to renew] at the moment but I think it’s untimely to talk about this now.”
The Vesuviani soundly defeated Hellas Verona 6-2 last weekend ahead of a tricky trip tonight to Bergamo.
“Maggio is fit and feels fine at the moment. He’s got strength and I think his performances are always good.
“Obviously no game is easy at this level but I think that Rafa Benitez is aware of this too.
“It’s difficult to do well in the League but I think that some key players like Maggio and Higuain have recovered just in time for Napoli.”
