Stefan Savic’s agent has confirmed Inter wanted to sign the Atletico Madrid defender and has revealed the truth about a possible swap deal with Marcelo Brozovic.
The Nerazzurri were linked with a number of centre-backs in the last summer transfer window as Milan Skriniar appeared to be close to leaving the club.
“Some time ago Inter really wanted to sign Stefan but these are stories that belong to the past now,” Zarco Pelicic told FcInterNews.

There were rumours in Italy last summer linking the former Fiorentina defender to Inter in a possible swap deal with Marcelo Brozovic.
"I sincerely read this news from the media. I haven’t spoken to Inter in the last few weeks,” he added.
Savic’s Atletico Madrid contract expires in June 2022 and reports in Italy suggest he could soon be offered a new contract.
“He’s happy at Atletico, but we’ll see what happens in the future,” his agent concluded.
