Roberto Inglese joined Parma after Carlo Ancelotti “told him he was third choice” at Napoli, confirmed his agent.
The striker was bought from Chievo a year ago for €10m and remained at the Bentegodi on loan last season.
“We have to thank Napoli and Mr Ancelotti for giving us this opportunity,” agent Samuele Sopranzi told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“We have to thank Napoli and Mr Ancelotti for giving us this opportunity,” agent Samuele Sopranzi told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Ancelotti made it clear that he was third choice and it seems only right, as Dries Mertens and Arkadiusz Milik are champions, but we hope to be back in the Azzurri jersey a year from now.
“Roberto wanted to stay, but he’ll aim to do well at Parma and then come back soon to Napoli.”
Inglese has moved to Parma on loan with option to buy, while Napoli retain a buy-back option.
