A representative for Marek Hamsik says the Napoli captain isn’t injured, and it’s “depressing” to only play 60 minutes.
The midfielder has been repeatedly substituted so far this season, with reports that he’s suffering from a slight hamstring complaint.
“He finished last season with physical problems, then he had a break and now the season has just started,” Martin Petras, who works with Hamsik’s agent Juraj Venglos, said on Radio Crc.

“It might seem that his performance hasn't been as high, but Napoli qualified for the Champions League and have won the first three league games, but they always expect something more from Marek.
“Marek is fine now but he always plays 60 minutes, they’re the decisions of the Coach [Maurizio Sarri] and we can only respect that.
“As far as I can see it’s always better for a player to play the whole game, from the outside it might seem that he has problems but that’s not the case.
“I’m someone who says what the thinks, and I’d want to rest for a whole game, but if I’m playing I’d want to play the whole game.
“Always coming off in the 60th minute is a bit depressing. Doing that you never stop, preparing for a match is also a psychological commitment.
“Every now and then it’s good to watch a game from outside, but after that you play 90 minutes. Marek is calm and there are no problems, I’m just giving my opinion.
“We hope to reach [Diego] Maradona’s record and we’ll succeed.”
