The Atomic Ant is co-owned by Parma and Juventus, but could be heading overseas as early as January 2012.

“It is no secret Roman Abramovich likes Sebastian Giovinco,” agent Andrea D'Amico told Sportal.it.

“The Chelsea boss was impressed by Sebastian in 2008/09 when he faced the Blues in the Champions League with Juventus.

“Also, if Andre Villas Boas really loves the technical qualities of the player, it means he is a football connoisseur. But at this moment, the market is closed and agents cannot be contacted.”

D'Amico also spoke to Radio Manà Manà this afternoon about the Chelsea links with the 24-year-old.

“Obviously Chelsea would be appreciated as a destination, but at the moment there is absolutely nothing concrete in it.

“Could he leave in January? It depends on Parma, but first of all we'd have to see if there was an actual offer.”
