The representative of Michael Agazzi has told clubs interested in his client to make contact with Cagliari first.

The goalkeeper has a number of admirers following an impressive 2012-13 which also resulted in him being called up to the Italian national side for the first time.

“Who wants Agazzi must speak with Cagliari President Massimo Cellino,” Patrick Bastianelli told Sport Italia.

“He has done very well this year and being added to the Giro Azzurro was a great satisfaction for him.

“Agazzi has worked his way up through all the categories, starting in the Lega Pro.

“He was a protagonist in the last campaign and I think he’s ready for an important club, but an agreement must firstly be reached with Cagliari.”

The 28-year-old, first choice in Sardinia since 2010-11, is of interest to Fiorentina as they are unlikely to take up their option to sign Emiliano Viviano from Palermo.
