ACL rupture for Kouame?

Genoa striker Christian Kouame is feared to have ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during the Ivory Coast's U23 match against South Africa.

According to Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, Kouame was taken off in the 72nd minute after a clash with a South African player.

The 21-year old has already returned to Italy from Egypt, where the game took place, to be assessed by the Genoa team doctors.

He will undergo tests tomorrow to determine the severity of the injury, but initial reports suggest it doesn't look good.
