The Frenchman, the club’s most prolific foreign player thanks to 171 goals in 320 games, left the Old Lady for Hercules in August 2010.

“As promised, I will be in Turin on 14 December,” the man who Luciano Moggi signed from Monaco in 2000 stated.

“It will be an important occasion for me since I have a strong bond with the club and, above all, I want to see all you fans again.

“I will be at the stadium to celebrate with you.”

The striker, now with Newell’s Old Boys after a spell at River Plate, is set to walk out on to the pitch at the Juventus Stadium during half-time of the Juve-Sassuolo tie.
