Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid dominate the Money League, respectively sitting first and second.
But the top 10 didn’t change from the previous year, despite the top 20 generating a combined €8.2bn in 2019-20, compared to €9.3bn the previous year.
Liverpool made their first entrance in the top 5 since 2001-02, as Juventus just about made the top 10, with around €10m more revenue than Arsenal from the Premier League.
A 13.5 per cent decrease in total for the Old Lady and a 36 per cent less of matchday revenues, the largest amount among the clubs in the Money League.
Inter remain at 14th with €291m and a decrease of €73m, with the downturn of 37 per cent in commercial revenues for the Nerazzurri.
Napoli, however, climbed one place from 20th to 19th, as the Partenopei recorded a turnover of €176.3m, down almost 15 per cent compared to 2018-19.
Milan and Roma are out of the top 20, with the Rossoneri at 30th with €148m due to their absence from European football.
Roma fell out of the top 20 due to the lack of Champions League football, but the suffering is not over for the top teams in European football.
Deloitte has estimated that this year’s Money League clubs will have ‘missed out on over €2bn in revenue by the end of 2020-21’.
